Digital and green construction - challenges and solutions around the construction machine

On October 10-11, 2023, the 6th Construction Equipment Forum will take place at the Estrel Congress Centrum in Berlin. The motto of this year's event is "Accelerating digital and green construction together". It is time to perceive the socio-economic reality and implement the supposedly abstract innovations in the everyday business of the construction equipment industry and neighboring economic sectors to meet the demands of climate neutrality and social sustainability.

The Construction Equipment Forum is a management conference that aims to connect the construction industry around construction equipment and drive change. This is the platform that aims to connect industry players as well as strengthen community spirit, which especially concerns the common goals of the construction industry towards politics. For this reason, the Construction Equipment Forum brings together the entire value system of the construction equipment industry: Over 350 executives from OEMs, BIM and from the supply chain attend the conference.

The speakers and exhibitors represent Zeppelin, Strabag, Wacker Neuson, Liebherr, Komatsu, Putzmeister, Hitachi, Wirtgen, and many others. The event's expert partners are Ammann Group, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG, Wacker Neuson SE and xelectrix Power GmbH and contribute to the thematic pillars of "Software, Digitalization and Automation," "Sustainability and Zero Emission," "World Order and Value Chains" and "Policy and Legislation“. The Construction Equipment Forum 2023 is also co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The highlights of this year's Forum are the Action Area and the Women in Construction Summit. While the Action Area will excite visitors in the exhibition, the Women in Construction Summit is the first event aimed at actively empowering women in the construction industry, networking them and establishing them as a community. The event is hosted by klickrent GmbH; Anne-Laure de Noblet, Head of Marketing, will welcome the participants and moderate the panel discussion 'Women in Construction'. The issues that connect many women in the construction industry are progressive work models, work-life balance, implementation of plans around social sustainability and diversity on the part of companies, as well as self-promotion and assertion of women in the workforce.
